Quick Sign-In Options
VisitorRego provides several alternative ways for people to sign in and sign out of a site without needing to complete the full sign-in process each time. These options are designed to speed up repeat visits, reduce manual data entry, and improve site entry efficiency while maintaining accurate tracking of onsite activity.
Each option works in a slightly different way depending on how the person is set up and how your site is configured in VR Portal and the VisitorRego software.

Personal IDs
Personal IDs allow people to sign in and sign out using a unique QR code or barcode that is linked directly to their record in VisitorRego.
Once assigned, a person simply scans their QR code at the VisitorRego unit to complete sign-in or sign-out without needing to re-enter their details.
Personal IDs can be based on:
- Existing cards containing a QR code or barcode (e.g. staff cards, membership cards, driver licences)
- VisitorRego-issued Personal ID tags
Issue Pass
The Issue Pass function allows a reusable label to be issued to a person who is currently signed in. This label remains valid until a defined expiry date.
Once issued, the same label can be used to sign in and sign out repeatedly until the pass expires.

Day Pass
The Day Pass function allows a standard sign-in label to be reused for multiple sign-ins and sign-outs within a 24-hour period.
This is useful for people who may leave site temporarily and return later the same day.
When enabled, the same label can be scanned repeatedly during the active 24-hour period without requiring a new sign-in.

Contractor Labels
When the Contractor workflow is selected during sign-in, the printed label is automatically reusable for sign-in and sign-out (if the workflow is enabled for the site).
This allows contractors to use the same printed label for future sign-ins and sign-outs without needing to complete a new sign-in each time.
No additional setup is required if the Contractor workflow is already available for the site.
RSVP Pre-Printed Labels
The RSVP feature allows individuals to be pre-registered in bulk before arriving onsite. Labels can then be pre-printed and issued on arrival.
When the individual arrives onsite, they simply scan their pre-printed label to complete sign-in.

Pre-Registration QR Sign-In
Pre-Registration allows a person to receive an email invitation prior to arriving onsite.
The email contains a link to a personal Pre-Registration page, where their unique QR code can be accessed for sign-in.
On arrival, the QR code can be scanned at the VisitorRego unit directly from the same person’s mobile device to complete sign-in.

Onboarding
Onboarding is used in VisitorRego’s contractor management system to send an email invitation to contractors after authorisations have been assigned.
The email contains a link to a personal onboarding page, where authorisation tasks can be completed and a unique QR code for sign-in can be accessed.
On arrival, the QR code can be scanned at the VisitorRego unit directly from the contractor’s mobile device to complete sign-in.
