Day Pass Setup

Day Pass Setup

The Day Pass function allows a printed label to be reused for multiple sign-ins and sign-outs within a 24-hour period. This is useful for visitors or contractors who may leave a site temporarily and return later on the same day.

When enabled, the same label can be used repeatedly for sign-in and sign-out during the active period.

Enabling the Day Pass Function

1. From VisitorRego’s Admin mode, select Options to open the System Setup menu.
2. Navigate to the General tab, then expand the General section.
3. Locate the Day Pass option.
4. Tick the Day Pass checkbox to enable the feature.

5. Close the System Setup window to save the changes.

Alert
This setting applies to all labels once enabled.

Using a Day Pass

When Day Pass is enabled, the label printed at registration can be used to sign in and sign out multiple times for a 24-hour period.

The same label remains valid throughout this period, allowing visitors or contractors to re-enter the site without requiring a new registration.

Info
Day Pass is one of several quick sign-in options available in VisitorRego.

For an overview of the available quick sign-in options and when to use them, refer to the Quick Sign-In Options knowledge base article.
