VisitorRego allows you to send notifications to more than one contact for a single staff member. This is useful in situations where, for example, a PA or EA should also be notified when someone signs in to meet with their manager.
The recommended method for adding additional contacts is via the VR Portal. However, if your staff list is maintained through an Active Directory integration, a different approach is required to ensure additional contacts are preserved.
4. Click on the staff member's name you would like to update.
To add additional email recipients:
Enter the secondary email address into the
EmailCC field.
If you are adding more than one, separate each address with a semicolon.
For example:
jane@abc.com;
paul@abc.com.
To add additional mobile recipients:Enter the secondary mobile number directly after the primary mobile number in the Mobile field, separated by a semicolon.
For example: 0212345678;0273456789
.
If your staff list is
loaded from Active Directory (AD), you can add extra email addresses in VR Portal using the EmailCC field. However, any extra mobile numbers added there will be overwritten during the next sync. To preserve extra mobile numbers, add them using Admin Mode, and be sure to tick the Maintain by VR option to prevent them from being overwritten.
See the next section for details on adding extra contacts through Admin Mode.
5. Once done, click Update to save your changes.

All email addresses and mobile numbers listed for the staff member will receive notifications when a visitor signs in to meet them.
1.
From VisitorRego’s Admin mode, select,
File >
Maintain Staff.
2. Find and select the staff member you want to update.
To add additional email recipients:
Enter the secondary email address into the
Email field.
If you are adding more than one, separate each address with a semicolon.
For example:
jane@abc.com;
paul@abc.com.
To add additional mobile recipients:Enter the secondary mobile number directly after the primary mobile number in the Mobile field, separated by a semicolon.
For example: 0212345678;0273456789
.

If your staff list is maintained via an automatic Active Directory (AD) load, any manual updates made in Admin Mode (such as additional mobile numbers or email addresses) will be overwritten during the next sync.
To preserve these changes, scroll to the right of the staff record and tick the Maintain by VR checkbox. This tells the system to keep the manually edited record intact during future AD syncs.
4. Close the Maintain Staff window to save your changes.
All email addresses and mobile numbers listed for the staff member will
receive notifications when a visitor signs in to meet them.
