Signing in using the Mobile Pass function

Mobile Pass is a function that allows visitors to sign in from their own smartphone device rather than at a physical VisitorRego unit.
A unique QR code is printed and displayed at your entrance or sign-in point. Visitors can then scan the QR code with their smartphone camera app to be taken to a web page where they can enter their details and register.

Mobile Pass is a function that needs to be setup first before it can be used. Contact the VisitorRego support team to have this function setup.
If your site already has Mobile Pass setup and you'd like to print out the unique QR code for your site, please find instructions here.

To use the Mobile Pass function:

1. The visitor would use their smartphone QR scanner or camera app to scan the Mobile Pass QR code that is displayed at your sign-in point (they don’t need to actually take a photo, just aim their camera at the QR code).



2. A popup will appear prompting the visitor to open a website. The visitor would tap on the prompt to open the website.



3. The Mobile Pass website will open and the visitor can enter their details to register and select who they are here to meet.



4. The visitor would tap on the ‘Register’ button and be taken to the H&S slides.



5. The visitor would read the H&S slide and swipe left to view the next slide.



6. Once all slides have been viewed, the visitor would tap on the ‘Accept’ button.



7. The visitor will be registered and an email notification sent to the staff member the visitor met with.



8. A sign out page will appear. To sign out, the visitor would tap on the ‘Sign Out’ button.
