What to Do When a VisitorRego Device Shows the Windows Login Screen
VisitorRego devices are normally configured to auto log in to Windows, so the system launches VisitorRego automatically without any user intervention.
In rare situations, such as a power cut, unplugged device, or fully drained battery, the device may resume from hibernation and display the Windows login screen. This article explains how to access the device when this happens.
Options for Accessing the Device
1. Enter the Windows password manually
The default password for the VisitorRego user is: aaaa
Entering this allows you to log in and resume use immediately.
2. Restart the device to trigger auto-login
Tap the Power icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Select Restart.
The device will perform a normal restart and automatically log in to Windows.
Auto-login ensures devices start up and run VisitorRego without intervention. Manual login is only needed in rare cases when the device has fully hibernated or lost power.
