VisitorRego Requirements

PC Requirements

To install and run VisitorRego, your PC must meet the following minimum specifications:

  • CPU: Intel Core i3 processor or higher (ARM-based processors are not officially supported)

  • Memory: Minimum 4GB RAM (8GB recommended)

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or 11

  • Architecture: 64-bit (x64)

  • .NET Framework: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher

  • Internet Connectivity: Required for software installation and updates



Hardware Requirements for Full System Functionality

In addition to the PC specifications above, the following hardware is required for full use of VisitorRego:

  • Display: The screen can be either a touchscreen, or the software can be used on a standard PC with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse

  • USB Ports: At least two available USB ports for connecting the scanner and printer. A USB hub may be used if additional ports are required

  • Scanner: Required for barcode/QR code scanning

    • Must be omnidirectional and support USB to serial emulation

    • Recommended Model: Honeywell Orbit 7190G (2D capable, supports QR codes)

  • Label Printer: Required for visitor badge printing

    • Must be at least 300dpi and thermal

    • Recommended Model: Brother QL-700

  • Front-Facing Camera: Required if using the photo capture feature


AlertNote: If you supply your own hardware, it must meet these specifications. However, VisitorRego does not provide support for third-party hardware.
