Broadcast Message Setup

VisitorRego can display a message to every visitor that registers to broadcast important information that visitors may need, for example a scheduled fire drill, or to make visitors aware of short term construction on site. 

To setup a message broadcast, from Admin mode, choose File> Broadcast Message.

Once the Maintain Broadcast Messages window appears, you can enter a message and set the period that you want the message to be displayed for.

Enter the message that you want to be displayed into the text box. The text box holds the message that is broadcast to all visitors.

Set the period in which you want the message to be shown by clicking the 'Broadcast From' and 'Broadcast To' date selector fields and selecting dates. The message will be shown between the broadcast from and to dates.

The text box below the broadcast from and to dates is a description of the date range the message is shown.

Close out of the window to save the changes.

With the message set up, now, when a visitor registers within the date range specified, they are shown the message upon registering.
